In addition to the information submitted above, the following materials need to be submitted by July 31, 2013

  • 1. A completed application form.
  • 2. A letter of intent (submitted online or by regular mail) indicating why you would like to be considered for a Nibley Fellowship. Please tell us about your specific areas of academic interest and your future academic or professional goals.
  • 3. An updated copy of your Curriculum Vitae (submitted online or by regular mail).
  • 4. An official copy of your most recent transcripts, sent directly to us by your university.
  • If you are entering graduate school for the first time, please send us a copy of the material you submitted in connection with your application to graduate school, along with a copy of your most recent official transcript of grades.
  • 5. A listing of the amounts and duration of financial support (if any) you are or will be receiving for 2013-2014 (submitted online or by regular mail). Indicate the source(s) of this support.
  • 6. At least two letters of recommendation from professors who are familiar with your academic work and with whom you have studied during the past year. These letters must be submitted on departmental stationery, not via email.
  • 7. A letter from your bishop or branch president recommending you on a personal basis. This letter must be submitted on ward/branch stationery, not via email.
  • On an optional basis, please send us copies of papers (electronic versions, if possible) that you have submitted to courses during the past academic year or have otherwise written that deal with subjects that fall within the broad fields of study listed above.

Please note: Your application cannot be considered until or unless we have received ALL of the material listed above. It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that a completed application form and all other required documentation has been filed by the deadline, July 31, 2013.
